After winning for that piece of art :  Image Du Futur, Montreal Animation - Second Place, Nicograph 87, Tokyo Artistic and Technical Achievement Award, Nouvelles Images de Monte Carlo Animation - Third Place; Steve continued his quest for facial deformation and facial expression with 3D tools.

As pioneer in 3D animation, Steve worked for such well know clients such as: NEC, MTV, ABC, and Universal Studios. Of course, while working for them, Steve continued his research on facial expression and facial deformation. His research put him in charge of a team at the Advanced Technology Group of entertainment company Electronic Arts.

Today, Steve DiPaola hands down his passion for 3D animation by teaching at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. Just like Christopher Columbus who was seeking for a new world, Steve seeks for a new 3D world.
