Rockstar - Bully
Some games and gameplay concepts feel very refreshing and innovative. This is the case with Rockstar’s
open world video games. This addictive style of play took the industry to a whole new level of complexity with the release of the infamous
Grand Theft auto 3. The title was followed by several sequels like Vice City, San Andreas and Liberty City, with new titles still being
developed in present time.

One of their best games outside the GTA series was released back in 2006 and then upgraded with a
special edition in 2008. The game was simply called Bully, and you play a kid who has to do all sorts of mischievous things in his school.
From going out on recess looking for a kid so he could give him a wedgie, to getting in fights with other tough kids in the institution to
climb up in the schoolyard as the ultimate bully.
There was a lot of important dialog going on in this game, and the team at Rockstar Vancouver
knew they had to find an efficient way of creating good lip synchronization for all the numerous cutscenes that this game featured.
This is why they turned to Di-O-Matic and Voice-O-Matic 3ds max edition, but also supercharged their workflow with the addition of
Pose-O-Matic for the lipsync animation of the game. It would have been extremely difficult and time consuming if they
had to do all the cinematics and general dialogs in this game without these powerful tools.
