 Discover the new face of Lara Croft…

The Oscar nominated Blur Studio recently released the trailer for Tomb Raider: Underworld featuring the new Lara Croft model.The artists at Blur relied once again on Morph-O-Matic, Di-O-Matic advanced morphing plugin for 3ds max, to assist them create the new stunning Lara Croft in her newest adventure.

We just released the new version 1.5 of Voice-O-Matic (XSI Edition)

What’s new?
* We added support for the latest version of Softimage|XSI 7 (32bit and 64bit)
* We enabled the ability to turn off the Weighting option
* When creating keyframes you can now restrict the time range.

 3d-io success story, the making of Perry Rhodan game

Igor Posavec, the Creative Art Director for 3D-IO shared the challenges he faced while making the game: Perry Rhodan.

During the development of Perry- the Myth of the illochim, 3D-IO used two of Di-O-Matic’s best known products. “A very important aspect of this game was obviously going to be facial animation and lip-synchronization. Seeing as we had over 240 minutes of spoken dialog in several languages, we decided to use Voice-O-Matic and Morph-O-Matic as the main production tools to help us spend as little time as possible while assuring great results.” explained Igor.
