That’s right, it’s been 10 years that our small team is based here in Montreal nearby the headquarters of Autodesk where our goal is to innovate and offer you the best character animation solutions.

Our solutions have been picked up by countless production studios around the globe to create among the coolest animations and video games of the past decade. We are proud that our solutions had a role in bringing to life some of the most well known CG character franchises including Spongebob Squarepants, Mickey Mouse, Spider-man, Batman, Superman, Garfield, Lara Croft, Sonic and Pink Panther to name just a few.

So many things have changed over the past 10 years in the CG industry, Autodesk now develop Maya, Softimage and MotionBuilder in addition to 3ds max, we’ve also seen numerous software companies come and go, but Di-O-Matic is still here delivering the best 3rd party character animation solutions.

We’ve been working hard these past years to actually release a revolutionary solution for facial animation and we announced it earlier this summer: Maskarad. A unique markerless facial performance capture solution that we are sure will reduce your production time and increase quality for your facial animations. An engagement we have been focusing on every day since our launch back in 2000.
